How’s the CryptoCurrency brokers in Japan?
There are several types of Crypto-currency brokers in Japan. CoinCheck, bitFlyer and ZAIF are the most famous brokers. These days, bitFlyer spreads their market to the U.S. so, you may know about that.
In order to use the Japanese crypto-currency brokers, you have to have an address in Japan and bank account of course. So, mainly it’s for Japanese only. But if you can use them with some reason, there is a chance to arbitrage between the brokers. (on the contrary, Japanese can’t use U.S. crypto-currency brokers such as CoinBase)
As their API documents are written in English, you can read it first. It’s easy to understand if you are good at JSON methods or Web API.
(I don’t know why they have API document in English, though foreigners can’t use it.)
You have to be careful when you use these brokers especially ZAIF and bitFlyer. ZAIF often responses 502 gateway timeout or 504 bad gateway, which means the server is down in this case. Besides, bitFlyer sometimes reject your orders during the price jump. CoinCheck is the only one to be able to use with no stress.
So, if you want to run arbitrage system between Japanese broker and another, you should try CoinCheck first.
by the way, the library code of Coincheck on github is broken, it doesn’t work. so, you have to code it yourself.
